Travis CI Enterprise 2.2 Now Available
Today we’re pleased to announce the latest release of Travis CI Enterprise, our on-premises version of Travis CI.
In this release you’ll find new features, most notably Build Stages.
New Features
Build Stages Build stages are our interpretation of a flexible and practical continuous delivery pipeline. They give you more control over your build process, and over how your code flows from check-in to production. This allows Travis CI to provide you and your team a better continuous delivery solution.
Trigger builds from the UI With our Request Build API we’ve added the ability to create custom builds from the web UI.
Trusty as default build environment Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty) are the new default build environments. For our customers, our Trusty Build Container for Enterprise documentation will help you to update your environments. If you need the default build environment to be Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise) still we’ve added a section to the management dashboard that allows you to override the default environment.
Updated Management Dashboard For our Enterprise administrators we’ve made it easier for you to configure proxy settings by going to /settings#proxy_enable
and SMTP Authentication by going to /settings#smtp
on the management dashboard.
Easily find your API token We’ve made it easier for you to view and copy your API token by going to finding it on your profile page.
More efficient and less memory We’ve rewritten many of our services to be more efficient and take up less memory.
Upgrading to 2.2
For our customers, you’ll want to update our management tool, Replicated before updating your install to 2.2 through the management dashboard.
